BTW, consider that Blue Sky claims it is removing CSAM (child sex abuse material) immediately. What is more abusive that mutilation and murder of a pre-born child which the technocrats controlling Blue Sky fully support and advocate under the banner of “women’s reproductive rights?

Sounds very much to me like the left trying to find a sanitized term for something every right minded person is against – child pornography.
Child Sex Abuse is redundant. Child Sex is abusive.
It’s stealth tactics like this that saddle us with terms like abortion in place of more honest terms like infanticide.
DON’T fight the fights using the left’s BS terms. They’ve pulled this for a century. Use the words that show the horror, not the ones that hide it. We don’t like talking about such things in polite society? The solution is to destroy the behavior, not soften the words for the horrors.

I’ve always resisted using “gender” outside of grammatical discussions. There are only two sexes. Anyone claiming a particular gender ought to be perceived as delusional. I’m afraid, though, that right-thinking people have largely accepted “gender” as equivalent to “sex.”
@JF; actually, depending on the language, there are might be three genders: masculine, feminine and neuter (as in Latin); gender refers to language use; sex refers to what animals (including humans) have as genes and to their role in procreation.

There are two sexes. I rarely use the term “gender” because most of the time people misuse it. They just don’t understand the difference due to the language aspect in English compared to other languages.
When explaining the difference between sexes and gender I’ve found it useful to use examples. A ship is often referred as a “she” so the ship has a feminine gender but no sex. A woman has a female sex so her gender is always a her. She can be very feminine or more masculine which has no impact on her sex.

Homicidal extremists like “Lillian” can get away with it in the sense that the particular social website allows the comment, but isn’t it true that the USSS (or some level of law enforcement) will bring them in for questioning when they make explicit threats like that?
I remember the comedienne (so-called) who was allowed to post a picture of her holding a mock severed head had her professional and personal life severely affected: repeated interrogations, no-fly list, detainings at foreign airports, lawyer fees, etc.
Well, so much for dialing down the rhetoric.

I suspect it was coined more as a way of avoiding triggering internet censorship algorithms that flag the term “sex abuse” or “sex” in general and cause the post to be removed or not included in searches regardless of the content. You have probably seen Facebook posters, blog posters, and others of both liberal and conservative bent going out of their way to avoid spelling out words like s*x, r*pe, a*use, “pron”, etc. for this reason.
