I will say that I have caused a miniature stink storm on Twitter by telling Pope Francis – er, I mean Leo – of what I think about his comments on the war in Iran. Lots of people “liked” my tweet, but many others gave me hell. This sure is one divisive issue that His Holiness has stepped into. He should have said no comment when the news media asked his opinion. As for threat of Avignon, he’s placed himself there with Catholics like me. Democrat first, Pope last. I don’t give a flying hoot what he says or thinks.
He might feel right at home in Avignon … He could still weekend in Castel Gandolfo
When the Pope becomes woke he becomes also a joke.
