I opened my front door last night so I could check if there was a delivery. We have a wreath hanging on the front door, and apparently a bird nesting there. The bird, instead of flying away from the house, flew into the house, and I got to spend the next 30 minutes getting it out. As it finally flew back out the front door it landed right back in its nest in the wreath.
Sigh, it’s going to be a long spring, lol. At least so far this year there’s not a woodpecker nest in the siding next to the bedroom.
So far.
Someone(s) #1 was paying someone #2 for the safe passage of tankers through the strait. Someone #2 is the person calling the shots. We’ve got a couple weeks to pressure someone(s) #1 to give us that contact information.

Re: UN … The fact that bad actors like Russia and China have veto power is just one reason why the UN can’t be taken seriously.

Dear Friends,
A close relative of my wife has a husband who is serving aboard a merchant vessel in proximity to the area of conflict in the Middle East. Your prayers are requested for his safety and protection as he performs his shipboard duties amid threat of drone and ballistic missile attack from a vile and evil dictatorship. Pray also for his wife and their two children whom she is raising alone because of circumstances beyond anyone’s control. Only my friends here on Facebook who have served in the US Navy as I did can possibly understand this difficult situation. We here in these United States get the luxury of being armchair admirals and not having to face real danger and its consequences. But the reality is this: one strike from an Iranian missile, one successful drone detonation can remove a husband from a wife, a father from his children forever. So pray that the mantle of the Blessed Virgin Mary will cover this man with an impenetrable shield of defense, and that God’s Holy Angels will defend this man’s ship as the US and Israel fight against tyranny and terrorism.
Let us pray:
Lord God, please remember your servant and his shipmates as they sail in the waters around the Middle East. Protect and defend them from all attack. Comfort and console their anxieties and those of their families. Grant a swift and sure victory to the armed forces of the United States 🇺🇸 and the State of Israel 🇮🇱. May Islamic tyranny be defeated and the Iranian people freed. But most of all, Heavenly Father, may your servant be restored to the loving embrace of his wife and the joy of his children. We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior and King, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Amen.

Pinky, depends on the bird. Once had a full-grown peahen get into my screened back porch. Don’t understand why birds can’t figure out how to get out the same door they came in through. Anyway, finally got the hen out, but it was…exciting.Backgrpund music? Think de Falla’s “Fire Dance”.
