Thank God! Penny deserved a medal and not a trial. Sometimes, even in a New York Courtroom with a Soros DA, the good guys win.

BLM is already calling for riots. Let’s see if it works, or if the American people have had enough of their nonsense. Thank God for the jury finding Penny not guilty though.
I think that if BLM riots, then they should be given everything that they give.
The impact of the Soros-backed DA’s are an under-reported story outside online conservative circles.
I can imagine the Southern Poverty Law Center already raising funds to build a bronze likeness of Neely. Placing it next to George Floyd.

I respectfully disagree with those who think that BLM, et al., will riot or that statues will be erected to Neely. The grift is over for those people. If no money can be made off the corpse (so to speak) or political power gained, then it will receive no more attention.
Correct me, y’all, if I’m wrong, but I think that is a big part of the change in the air that we all seem to feel: a majority of people are disgusted with the antics and violence of the last four to eight years, and so no one can use these dead criminals for political influence anymore. The jig is up!

One curio is that the jury which could not agree on a 2d degree manslaughter verdict quickly agreed to an acquittal when the top count was dismissed. The possibility I’ve seen suggested that the deadlock was caused by one or two holdouts, and these eventually caved.
It is a shame it got to the point that a random stranger had to take things in his own hands and risk his own freedom.
This brings up a bigger question of mental health and how much it is fueling crime. If the powers that be in NY don’t address this then there will be a repeat. And Penny’s ordeal will have no meaning.
This occurred not long ago in Bondi in Sydney, by a deranged mentally ill man. Thank God for the female cop who shot him dead, whilst everyone was running away.

Thank God for this verdict. When are these cities going to deal with the violent mentally homeless? Self medicating with street drugs is never good.
