I remember when Democrats called him the New Hitler. Little did they know then that he was basically one of them.
A Glitch in the Matrix

Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
If the Dems were to unite behind him, there are enough never-Trumpers on the other side to make him Speaker. What a clown show.
He’s not one of them. He’s just indifferent to the interests and sentiments of the people who voted for him, like a mess of other prominent Republicans (Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, John McCain, Richard Cheney, Bush the Younger, Bush the Elder, Glitch McConnell, John Boehner).
We need to realize that Republican leaders don’t have a problem with being indifferent. They have a problem with routine near-violent opposition. Democrats in general believe in state control; they mostly escape communism by failure to embrace state ownership of production. They are very staunch socialists, at best.
Republicans have need to cease operating behind closed doors and making deals amongst themselves and with the Democrats.
They need to make the case for capitalism and moral virtue directly to the American people.
