When my oldest daughter was about 3 she was watching this movie over and over. One day I told her I had to go to Kansas for work, then she asked me a question in a serious manner. Question was “Will there be color?”

When I was about 8 years old the Wizard of Oz happened to be on TV when we were visiting some relatives. I had seen the show a couple of times on our black & white set at home, but the relatives had a color set. Now at age 65 I can still remember being stunned and amazed at the vivid colors. I had no idea that any TV shows were in color! A fun memory.
