This immediately reminded me of the lyrics from Jackson Brown’s song Information Wars, “the latest spin, on the s^!@ we’re in” if you haven’t heard the song it was relevant then, even more so now.

Of course I’m fine with him or Marta being burned alive or worse for these crimes.
Maybe we should wait and find out what he’s accused of before we openly hope for his torturous demise? He was released on his own recognizance … is that common for heinous child abusers? When was the last time the MSM got their first story correct anyway? MSN would have us believe he’s a notorious child molester. Convenient. The other side of the story seems to be that “Marta is a landlord to a woman who was involved in a custody dispute with her aunt. Marta was allegedly providing living arrangements to said woman and her child, the former who is involved in rehabbing the rental property.”

Fair point, CAG. And you are correct it looks like the charges against Fabian Marta are much more of the “helping parent in a custody dispute” kind than the “windowless van” kind. In which case I retract my earlier statement about his fate. (Researching Meeks’ case had gotten me very ill tempered.) This is exactly why I endorse the court system in principle over feelings, because when emotions run hot it is easy to visit injustice on people. Founders be praised for their wisdom in establishing a sensible check against our worse natures.
