You hear little of this fact, because Democrats and their media auxiliaries constantly stir the evil pot of racial hatred, and this fact does not serve that effort. No attention is paid, and no effort is made, to solve this, as it could largely be solved, through increased policing and putting predators away for long prison terms. Instead, the police are depicted as the enemy and predators are portrayed as innocent, misunderstood lads who must be kept out of prison at all costs. Thus the innocent die, mendacious politicians reap votes and our cities become dangerous cesspools.
