I am so old that I can recall when it was illegal to attempt to threaten or influence a judge prior to a court ruling. Still is actually, but we no longer have a government of the people, but rather a regime imposed by censorship and fraud and maintained by thuggery. Such regimes are ultimately kept in place only by force because they have no legitimacy.

Merrick Garland is a fraud unfit to practice law. Joey Soft-Serve hardly knows whether he’s coming or going. In fairness to the Mayor and the Chief of Police in DC, Kavanaugh is not their constituent. He lives in Chevy Chase Md, which is the domain of the Montgomery County government. The Chief Justice lives about three blocks away.
Montgomery County is known for being very liberal and hands off criminal illegals. Trying to intimidate members of court is still a criminal offense. I’m surprised the affluent neighbors weren’t over loading the MCs 911 operators. Maybe they were. Justice Alito and family were moved to a safe house.

I think that’s just a rumor. It’s just him and his wife. His children are > 30. Daughter lives in Boston. The son lives in NoVa with his wife (and, presumably, children).
