It is becoming obvious to the Puppeteers that Biden is too far gone in dementia to be a useful Puppet President, and is becoming an albatross around the neck of the Democrat party. Jill Biden is lashing out at Harris, the heir apparent. I think the Puppeteers will use this strife as part of their operation to remove both of them, get Pelosi in, and then have Congress vote by majority for a new Veep, or simply keep the office vacant. How will they get rid of Biden and Harris? By any means necessary. The next few months may be very, very interesting. Pass the popcorn, and keep it coming.

Pelosi as President? And when you thought it couldn’t get worse.
The second they try to install Pelosi there will be a major court fight, because it’s almost certainly unconstitutional to have any sitting member of either house of Congress in the presidential line of succession.
It will be a glorious mess, and I’d say to pass the popcorn…but with the way things are going, there probably won’t be any popcorn on store shelves to grab.
The Constitution allots to Congress the job of determining Presidential succession, which Congress has done, most recently in 1947.
In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by Law provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be elected.

It is a stupid policy given the properties of those who commonly occupy those positions, but it’s within the discretion of Congress according to the constitutional provision in question.
Very skeptical that Posobiec’s sources are as reliable as he claims. There’s a name on it or it didn’t happen.
My sister was at one time an inner city special education teacher. She told me that ‘stupid, but cunning’ was a very common type among her charges and this was something unknown among people who did not have contact with this population. Which brings us to Pelosi. All the indicators suggest she’s a dime-store Machiavellian whose sole skill is navigating the politics of the legislative caucus of the Democratic criminal-organization-masquerading-as-a-political-party. There is zero indication of an interest in policy, nor any indication of general intelligence above and beyond what you’d find in a middling 2d grade teacher. She’s of an age to be suffering observable cognitive decline and frequently lapses into barely coherent blithering. If the other dime store Machiavellians in the Democratic Party actually do want this horrid woman in the President’s chair, it’s just another indicator of how rotten the Democratic Party is at its apex and center. Have a gander at the first six people in the order of succession. Janet Yellen is the only one who isn’t a grotesque and even Yellen has been a graft recipient to a degree that might have been a career-ender in Jimmy Carter’s time.

Perhaps Art, but I have noted that Posobiec has a good track record of breaking stories a few days before everyone else has it.
It sure sounds like the Edith Biden we’ve all come to know: desperately propping up her husband, stomping the fingers of those below him on the ladder, and not particularly well-informed on matters of import.
A cannier player would realize that the Veep has no constituency within the party or strong allies in its power structure, which is as close to ideal as Edith can hope for right now.
If the President had picked Whitmer as his running mate, things would be much dicier for the First Lady right now. Not that Gretch is any great shakes as a leader, but she has some executive experience and projects competence (no matter how mixed her actual record is on that point).

Please, Dale P., that leering, grinning Halloween face of the incompetent preening self-fascinated Whitmer as VP—or worse—is retch-inducing. I have a house in MI and I don’t find the roads (“Fix the roads, dammit!” – Her 2018 campaign battle cry) one ‘whit ‘ better outside of my luckily well-run hamlet in the Shire.
Steve P:
I am an unshakeable supporter of whomever is running against Whitmer, up to and including an inflatable tube man. Her policy of shuttling virus-infected patients to nursing homes–no matter how voluntary on the part of the cash-hungry homes themselves–was unconscionable.
But she still would have been a more competent pick than Harris. Not saying much, but….
Harris is a totally inept politician. She could only have been elected to the Senate in a one party state like California. Hitler Whitmer actually ran and won in a state which has competitive state races.
Donald,
“In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by Law provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be elected.”
The key word there is “Officer.” Only “Officers” are eligible to be President, and there is a strong argument that the Constitution explicitly disqualifies sitting Representatives and Senators from being considered as such:
“No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office.”
The part of the 1947 act that includes the Speaker of the House and the President pro tempore of the Senate in the line of succession has never been challenged in court, because there has never been a live case.
If Pelosi tries to take the Presidency, that will change.
The Presidential Succession Act of 1792 has the Speaker and the President Pro Tem in the line of succession. There is not a chance in the world that such a suit would receive anything but a quick dismissal.
Neither the presidency nor the vice presidency were created during the tenure of any sitting member of Congress. The list of members of Congress who have accepted cabinet posts is as long as your arm.
I would put my money not on Pelosi, but Mrs Murderess, Clinton
