I truly hate robo-calls, as does my bride, who is the designated phone answerer at out house. For the past month we have been getting robo-calls from the Trump campaign several times a week. In 2012 we were contacted by the Romney campaign once. We of course reside in icy blue Illinois. If Trump wins here he is looking at a 45 state romp. I am curious as to whether the readers of TAC have been receiving similar phone calls. Is this a national effort by the Trump campaign that is going on beneath the radar of the national media? I have also been receiving endless e-mails from the Trump campaign, but that also happened in 2012 from the Romney campaign. Let me know whether any of this is happening to you in the comboxes.

Nothing on my end, though I’m in even bluer Maryland. I did see a Clinton ad while watching the Olympics. I don’t think it was a national ad, so if it’s local, that’s odd since she’s going to easily win all three markets my territory covers – Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
I’m also a Marylander who hasn’t been getting calls. If you want me to start forwarding you emails requesting campaign donations, however…
🙂
We live in northern Wisconsin (Sean Duffy’s district) and have been averaging 1 – 2 Trump calls per week. We simply hang up when we recognize what it is.
