There appears to be a World Therapeutic Movement. Includes animals. I looked with laffs that the former French P.M. was assaulted by a paranoid pooch. And that the world MSM reported this event with all due seriousness. As though we assume human-like qualities to essentially wild creatures- including this pampered poodle. Not sure if life is imitating the Simpsons. More like life imitating PETA. Or truth far stranger than fiction.
I suppose in France taking the mad dog out to the back pasture for the final coup de grâce is passé.
When I heard “clinically depressed poodle,” the first thing that popped into my head was “DeVillipin mauled Chirac? What crisis provoked that? Was red wine served with the fish?”

I would defend to the death Sumo from Cruella de Vil, especially since she is a fictional character and therefore the risk of my death would be small indeed. On the other hand, if she came after Chirac….
