It is good of Bishop Strickland.
You would think being an Argentine, Francis would know better than to give this bishop an injustice to fight AND plenty of free time!
Usquequo, Domine?
And this from perhaps the most rigid religious leader I’ve seen in many a decade. I think the most troubling part of Pope Francis has been his ‘do as I say, not as I do’ approach to almost everything. In our day and age, that’s the last message we need.
Examples of a pope and an anti-pope.
Validity and competence are separate issues. A validly elected president can be incompetent. A usurping ruler occasionally rules well.
I pray God will soon remedy Francis, hopefully through conversion.
Strickland definitely seems to be better focused on the Lord’s work. It must make the Enemy pleased to see good clergy sidelined. I hope Strickland gets to do more things in the future after his time in the desert.
