In his word salad, Pope Bob stated near the end that the Church is called to serve the human person. That is an heretical statement. The Church is called to serve Christ, NOT man.
C’mon LQC … Heretical?!!? We can’t be tossing the ‘H’ word around frivolously.

These are red letter passages.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a fan of these inane and ethereal platitudes he’s throwing around … But the problem with these statements isn’t a call to service, it’s the damage that can be done in their name. This doubletalk sounds a lot like “From each according to his ability, to each according to their need” language. Equity and inclusion!
Christ chose to share our life, but the greater and more important truth that Pope Leo fails to mention is that He does this so that we can share His life. Unless this is the foundation, heart and substance of his teaching, it’s just vapor.
I am sure the EWTN summary above of P. Leo’s Wednesday General Audience is accurate.
But as with his predecessor, did anyone else notice—-no mention of Jesus Christ? Anywhere, at least in this summary.
I went to look up the text and 2 brief passing mentions of that Christ guy were inserted in the address, and a final commendation at the end.

These were said to the 12, whom we would later call bishops, and not to the masses of people on the hills. Similarly he did not give the masses the Authority to bind and loose.
Selected quotes need to be relevant and do not apply equally to all people.
