Biden Likely to Drop Out

I predicted that Biden would be out by July 15th.  It looks like I will be close.  Biden is off the campaign trail and back in Delaware, purportedly from Covid.  Heavy duty Democrats, including the minority leader of the House and the majority leader of the Senate, have called for Biden to drop off, and Obama has let it be known that he has serious concerns about the Biden campaign.  Major donors, the life blood of the Democrat party, have cut off their donations.  Internal Democrat polls indicate that Biden has no chance.  Perhaps most importantly, Biden has been demonstrating almost daily that he is senile and deeply unwell.  I think he will be out by the weekend.

That raises two questions.  If Biden is too out of it to run for President, how can he still act as President?  The fact that he is a sad puppet is now obvious to all.  Second, who is the sacrificial lamb that is put up against Trump?  Almost certainly Harris.  Sidestepping her is simply impossible for the race and sex obsessed Democrats.  Additionally their top candidates want to wait until 2028, rather than wasting their time in a losing effort to turn sow’s ear into a silk purse.   Candidates dream of the position that Trump is now in.

Don’t see them dropping Dummy #1 until Dummy #2 (er, the candidate) is solidly in place. Assuming Biden drops out, I agree they have to run with Harris to avoid even bigger riots in Chicago than they will otherwise face, but would also face the inevitable question: if she’s good enough to replace Biden in January when he’s flailing now, why not replace him now? Even that’s not perfect, for if they try it at the convention, the Radicals will try to force their own VP choice on Harris; and if afterwards the same Radicals will scream betrayal. (BTW: what VP choice with ambitions would want to follow this double-clown act?)
Speaking from California: Hair Newsom’s star is sinking as the state legislative analyst just forecast budget deficits through 2028, when Gel Boy really wants to run.

If they wanted Harris, they’d be pushing for Biden to resign. They’re desperately trying to avoid that conversation, so they must want someone else. The question is, do they do speed-primaries or bypass the voters and let the delegates decide?

Good health to us and confusion to our critics.

Alzheimovid;
A strain of Covid effecting those with Alzheimer’s.

Signs:

The inability to speak the truth.
Great difficulty climbing stairs.
Obsession with smelling hair follicles.
Garbled language.

Maybe the dems will be so desperate that they’ll put the nasty woman in. Grudge Match 2024.
Dust off Hillary, cake her face and off to the rodeo.

I read somewhere Jill despises Kamala. She still holds a grudge against her for calling her husband a racist years ango…and that she has dug her heels in for her husband to hold on as long as he has a pulse. Only because she doesn’t want to “concede” to Kamala…🤷🏻‍♀️

Whatever happens we can be sure the democrats and their media will pretend it’s a breath of fresh air and all the lies that did happen -never happened.

Note that news stories are being very careful not to say that Biden is being forced out for being incompetent. It’s due to his “disastrous debate performance” giving him “poor electoral prospects.” Even his supposed COVID diagnosis is discussed as something that is “isolating” him or “putting him in more of a bubble”, not as something that is a cause for concern in terms of weakening an already frail old man.

Now part of this is likely due to democrats caring more about whether their guy is in office than whether the country is in shambles. But I think a larger reason for this is so that they can pretend to still support Biden the president while rejecting Biden the candidate. Biden’s term has been great, it’s just that he unexpectedly did bad at the debate (due to his stutter, you know) and since the public is too stupid to not be able to see past that, Biden has to step down for the good of the party. But since he’s doing such an amazing job, of course he will finish out his last term. Or so the narrative will go.

I realize the time-scale is smaller, but this discussion of sacrificial lambs is reminding me a bit too much of high-profile Democrats dropping out of the ’92 race, rather than make a hopeless run against Bush the elder riding high off the first Persian Gulf War. We all know how that turned out.

Harris can’t win without massive fraud (which is going to happen anyway, but regardless). If they bring in someone new, though, who can pretend to disavow the entire disastrous Biden administration (while quietly agreeing to continue all the disastrous policies) the complexion of the race changes quite a bit.

This is still Trump, and the mindless hate hasn’t gone anywhere.

Scary that he will remain in office for 5 months

I’m rather more pessimistic than you are about November.

It’s been understood for > four years now that he was impaired, starting no later than the James Corden interview for which he required a TelePrompTer. That this was not explicitly acknowledged by anyone outside the opposition is another indication that the media and the faculty are no better than their East Bloc counterparts ca. 1979.

I certainly understand Art Deco’s concerns, but from what I remember in 2020, the right was guilty of exaggerating Biden’s dementia, giving the impression that he was barely functioning. Then, on the debate stage he was to all appearances his usual feisty, hectoring, mocking self (i.e., extremely repulsive but certainly not senile).

I have no idea who will be the new VP candidate, but I have a strange premonition that it will be a female–no instinct is too dumb for the Democrats not to double down on it–and possibly one “of color.”

Side note: you just know Obama is writhing in a paroxysm of self-love and frustration that he can’t be president again.

I would strongly recommend that he do so and get his affairs, especially spiritual, in order before the inevitable decision in heaven is made for him.
