Good response!
Typical modernized Catholic ethics.
Slaughter of Innocents, bad.
War, even worse.
Men of this type would have chastised the English for fighting Hitler and allowed every Jew in Europe to become ash.
Bishops like this would be afraid to appear in public if their opposition were not better Catholics than they are. How many lost conversions due to men of this kind? How many led into error and apathy?
These clowns just need to shut up and quit playing to the media. They are a waste of air. They need to have some suffering show up in their neighborhood.
I’ve got nothing good to say about Archbishop Gustavo. The less I read of what he writes, the better. He will never be convinced till the Islamic terrorists for whom he feels so sorry makes him kneel to be decapitated.
“The pacifist thinks that the alternative to war is peace; it is not. Sometimes the alternative is oppression. Sometimes certain God-given rights and liberties can be preserved only by resistance to that which would destroy them. And to defend certain basic God-given rights and liberties is not immoral but righteous.”
— Archbishop Fulton Sheen
Quotemeister – that wire by Archbishop Fulton Sheen is superb. Thank you for sharing it.
We need bishops to come out into the streets and stop with the tweets. Turn over tables, rip down rainbow flags and raise the red flag, lead Catholic armies over the ramparts. Elijah cut throats to end offense to God. Why not now?
Every day Abp. Gustavo tweets is the Devil’s holiday.
