Have Subtlety of Spirit, or else.
Interesting how much gunpowder is poured out and then the suggestion to all that are nearby is to be subtle with your matches, meanwhile the gunpowder owner plays with sparklers in the middle of the pile.
The Spirit should be analyzed and tested.
Not the press agents spirit.

It’s always nice to have some lickspittles to have your back, eh?
“It’s always nice to have some lickspittles to have your back, eh?”
Indeed. It’s been his specialty since long before he was installed in the Holy See. While he obviously didn’t appoint this particular bunch of lickspittles to their current jobs, he might as well have done, since we can’t tell the difference anyway.
The press should recognize how scandalous the statement is, but only if they’re not overly flattered by it.
I recall a few years back when Francis was asking the press corps to dig up dirt on AB Vigano … shameless.
If the press likes you, it is not a good sign – and very likely a sign that you are not good.
From VaticanNews: ‘
The Holy Father went on to express his gratitude to the Vaticanisti for their journalistic work and for their “constancy and patience” in building “bridges of knowledge and communication instead of divisions and diffidence.”
What if the bridges of knowledge are themselves divisive? What if the pope’s words and actions are divisive? The pope might then prefer a great deal of diffidence in the Vaticanisti.
“Thank you for this attitude.” or bye bye.

It’s a problem when he cares about what the wrong group thinks about him and less about what his own think about him. Too many “yes” people around him.
There would be no need for “abashed”silence in the reporting of the Pope if the Pope was doing the correct thing like dismissing sexual abusive priests.
