Father Dan Horan, Leftist priest, is well known to this blog for over a decade. Go here, here, here and here. A pity that Horan limits the responses to his post to those who agree with him.

As I have aged, I have no interest whatsoever in priests who don’t know when to shut up about the socialist crap and preach the gospel which is the truth and not junk science. Staring with the Vietnam War until now, I have never understood why these activist priests and nuns went into the religious life since it so clearly conflicts with their primary interests. At least Dorothy Day remained in the laity so as to avoid confusion with theology, though I’m pretty sure she thought different of her efforts.

While not unique to those left of center, I find this to be almost universal among those who swing left of center. I mean, I think of all the Catholics who clearly go left who either no longer have comments, or if they do, have little tolerance for allowing people who disagree.

Truth hasn’t hidden itself because of popular new beliefs that have been projected by a culture. All that is hidden is the courage to profess the Truth.

As the multimillion dollar settlements have redirected monies away from the poor to pay victims of molestation, rape and sodomy, my patience wears thin with perverted clergy.
Truth is patient, kind, forgiving and understanding. Vengeance is the Lords.
That doesn’t mean that Truth must play second fiddle to a culture that denies truth.
Disorders are treatable. Ignoring or rebranding the disorder isn’t mercy. It’s blessing a disorder or in many cases, blessing a sin, since the activity of individuals are abominations before God and man. Think of it as a golden calf. Worship of the golden calf leads to hell.
Truth, presented in harmony and love for neighbors, leads to a healthy self-love and unity with God. An identity that was created at the conception of that male or female.
Altering that identity is worship of the false God.
Leading souls to false Gods is Satanic.
