I used to like his books but I don’t think he writes them – or maybe writing so many dark themes created what he is now; creep.

And the true handmaids tale are the women used to carry the children of homosexual couple. Not in olden times where they would be cared for and in the least, their dark urges suppressed or hidden. Now women are a womb to rent.

As usual, King has it all wrong

thanks Don. Logic and rationality are not weapons used by pro-abortion advocates. That was shown in the debate between Santorum and the female California Senator about partial-birth abortion.

Mrs Opey, I, too, was once a fan of Mr. King’s work. I even bought several of his novels in hardcover, because I thought they were worth it. (For what it’s worth, this was years prior to my conversion and reception into the Catholic Church.) Then I encountered a short story he wrote early in his career, before he was well-known. It was based on a horrific premise, similar to the equally horrific film “The Hunger Games”, although in his story it wasn’t young people killing each other, but rather being killed by agents of the state. It was so clearly the product of a sick mind that I have never read another thing he wrote, except the odd social media post that shows up here or on other blogs I read. In retrospect, I should have realized the truth much earlier than I did, because that same sickness is evident in several of his later works, as well.
