Again, well done, Donald. I quit following that particular priest after he accused me on Twitter of serious sin, for pointing out that no one has the authority to force me to accept medical treatment of any kind, especially including “vaccines” that don’t actually vaccinate.
We had a good run of luck with popes since Pius VII (1800). Most had some strength even if they lacked others, but Francis has none. He’s not a theologian, a diplomat or an effective administrator. He’s not an inspiring preacher. He’s a narrow, ignorant and vindictive little man, and reminds me of some of the last religious administrators in dying orders for which I once had the displeasure to work.
Frank- I didn’t realise Priests were now in the business of condemning faithful Catholics online. And on social media of all places! How “transformative” of Fr Schneider. It seems that someone needs to exercise some sanity here and take Fathers keyboard away from him before he injures himself.
I don’t want to be too sweeping in my prescriptions here, but I think priests are currently incapable of engaging in social media except as silent observers or maybe as teachers, confining themselves strictly to what is factual. When it comes to more specualtive or controversial matters, the necessary depth of education is lacking nowadays in most of them, and the result is the unjust or male sonans reply such as the one given by Fr. Schneider above. (There are, of course, notable and rare exceptions: Fr. Hunwicke, Fr. Zuhlsdorf, and a few others.)
