Modernism & liberalism in our times is what Gnosticism & Arianism was to the early Church. If the good Lord tarries, then Bergoglio will go down in history as a contemptible heretic. If the good Lord returns soon in the Parousia, then Bergoglio will get the rude awakening that he so richly merits. “Depart from Me, ye worker of iniquity; I never knew you.”

Just wait until the “Synodal Church” kicks into high gear–then you’ll see the dream of Church as Real Estate Holding Company come into focus.

The “synodal synthesis” over at the USCCB site is a blueprint for Episcopalianism 2.0. Only far more dishonest and without the possibility of the occasional beautiful worship service.

If you want to see the wordiest suicide note ever composed in English, it’s over there.

Combine the looming demographic sinkhole with the already pressing need to consolidate parishes in many places, and it won’t be long before they won’t even have the buildings.

Tangentially related: ever wonder, as I frequently have, where all that money goes when our Modernist bishops close parishes and sell off the land and buildings? (I won’t even go into the scandalous practice of selling consecrated sites to secular commercial interests, or worse yet, to non-Catholic religious groups.) I concede I have not tried to find data on that, but you can’t get much of anything out of a chancery office without a lawsuit or a search warrant, anyway.

I take heart in the past debauchery, Luther’s reformation, and the great counter-punch in the same era, Our Lady of Guadeloupe and the conversion of millions.

Please remember, Whenever sin abounds, grace abounds all the more. [poor paraphrasing]

The trust that this speed bump will be nothing more than that. The temporary heartburn for the faithful.

The tapestry is still being weaved and all we can see thus far is the back side of the magnificent living work. Without the dark and gloomy threads what would be the contrast to exhibit the glorious brilliant golds, yellows and orange threads?

This work is far from over and those dark threads can become white as wool if we sacrifice, fast and pray for them. Who knows? In your offerings you become gold thread in this masterpiece. One that we will be able to view for eternity. It’s all in the Divine Artist hands. It’s all in your heart too.

Thanks, Philip. Where I live several priests are blessing salt to be spread at the corners of their parishioners property. Sort of the blood of the lamb on the doorsteps in the Old Testament.

Your welcome CAM.

Blessed salt. Miraculous medals.
Sacramental’s play an important role.
A very important role in helping souls back to the Truth. Protection too.
Yes.

I took advice from our priest and buried four blessed medals of St. Benedict. One at each corner of the property. Superstition?
Nope.
Confidence in my superior and my friend in heaven, St. Benedict.

Btw..I wear a medal of his as well.
After all, all hell is breaking loose and hells inhabitants hate holy blessed sacramental’s as much as they hate those with faith in the sacramental.
