It’s not a conspiracy. It’s just a liberal hive mind.
A qualification. Prior to about 1941, news outlets had fairly public biases, you had a multiplicity of biases from which to choose, and papers were staffed with people devoted to the task of reporting. From about 1941 to about 1992, the media bias was escalatingly monochromatic, but outlets still employed authentic reporters. The period since about 1992 has seen biased reporters and editors incrementally replaced with garbage people paid to lie for the Democratic Party. (Of course, there were dishonest people under the previous regime, but it was usually passably concealed. Dan Rather was a distrusted figure for decades; it was only in 2004 that his bad character was so flagrantly demonstrated that the network had to stop pretending).
Art Deco.
Thank you for your explanation.
In your opinion what would have to happen to bring back honest journalism?
Is it even possible?
Journalists used to be blue collar men and women out to get “the man”, now they’re college educated propagandists with astronomical college debt to pay off by doing whatever “the man” tells them to do.
“What orders from Mordor my lord, what does the Eye command?”
At least the pregnant teen can fit into her clothes again…thanks to the EyE…and ofcourse mommy dearest.

Journalism should be about reporting unbiased facts:
Woman kills her unborn grandchild. Burns body and buries it in backyard. Mother of child accessory to killing.
Facts are not difficult if one intentions are honest.
PZ, if the wench had kept her jeans on in the first place, we would not be reading this.
In your opinion what would have to happen to bring back honest journalism?
Dunno. Societies and cultures go through unpredictable cycles of corruption and renewal. IMO, the generation composed of people who were adults by default retired around about 1960. Each cohort in charge since has been worse and people are worse in their mundane lives. You see it in all kinds of ways in the realms of the aesthetic and moral. The technology gets more productive. The people operating it get worse.
Guys?
This isn’t helping.
When I have to go do a search to find out that they killed a child who could live just fine if induced, vs a child who was almost three months after birth, you are not helping.
All you’re doing is making it seem like it’s fine to murder someone who can live fine if they were induced, AND that it’s fine to equivocate.
All you tell me is that
1) you think born children are better protected,
and
2) you are willing to lie if you think it helps you to your goals.
That does NOT do anything to help support the basic humanity of that kid.
Yeah, born kids are better protected.
Mostly.
… because folks haven’t worn that protection down, much, yet.
Look at pro-aborts.
They went from “gosh it’d hurt theoretical kids” to “wow that doesn’t look like a kid” to “wow that kid can’t survive on his own” to….. uh…..what? Just kill him now it sucks?
