PopeWatch: I Guess Pope Chastisement is Right Out?

Today is the naming of popes, with apologies to Henry Reed.  Have at it.

No pope in modern history has been as corrupt as Pope Francis. So there is that.

Heretical Marxist Peronist Caudillo Jorge Mario Bergoglio – please, Lord Jesus Christ, depose and anathematize this man from the Seat of Saint Peter!

“No other Pope in history has taken such verbal abuse”? Then any rational person must ask themselves, why is that happening? The pitcher usually doesn’t throw brush-back pitches at the batter unless he’s crowding the plate

No modern pope has engaged in the willful abuse of faithful Catholics as has Pope Francis, The website “The Pope Francis Little/Bumper Book of Insults” has extensively documented these insults.

NB Bergolio is not a false name. I have heard from a reputable source that this is a common way to refer to the pope in Europe.

It’s like getting mad because someone says 24 April. Words are only as good or bad as the meaning they carry.

Typically, referring to the pope by his birth name is a Protestant move.

I am glad to discover that it’s not just me that does this. My brother and I often exchange texts early in the morning about the latest outrage from Rome. I used so many different names for the Pope that my brother used to wait in anticipation for what new name was going to be used that day. He joked that sometimes he had to go and look up the word used in the name. Some of course were instantly recognizable but also not subject to publication.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a protestant (or anyone) make reference to ‘Ratzinger’, ‘Wojtila’, ‘Luciani’, ‘Montini’, ‘Roncalli’, ‘Pacelli’ &c. after their election, except in written retrospectives.

Pope Francis’ consecrated celibate marriage vowed to man in Christ withstood extreme tensions on 17June 2021 simultaneously of tax exemption embezzlements and lower insurance cost by fraud.

Speaking of AI, what’s with the above comment? I like that the assigned avatar was a robot though.
