God has His ways of dealing with competition. Let his emulate his patience as best we can.

These population control advocates have been spelling doom and gloom for decades now. It used to be food shortages. Now it’s water shortages. They might be correct if it permanently stopped raining.

The world was meant to end a hundred times over. And yet here we are.

They don’t address solutions to tackle government mismanagement of resources and human access to them. And they don’t acknowledge the conflicts which give rise to poverty and desperation (religious, political ideological…). Instead, their solution is fewer people, whilst ignoring the root problems.
Someone needs to tell Jane Goodall if there were fewer people who occupied the earth then who would appreciate the lovely Gorillas she is desperately trying to preserve above the human race.

When I was a kid, we went to the movies to get our fix of fantasy, and to Church to get our fix of truth. Had I known then how this crazed world would decompose spiritually, I wouldn’t have chosen to grow older.

Since the Vatican cannot get Mengele, perhaps someone at the FDA who authorizes this kind of tissue research.

“What does it mean to be human?”

I’m curious.
Based upon Dr. Goodall’s feelings of overpopulation just what remedies she may prescribe to heal Mother Nature. Will they be humane?
Better yet, what will the pontificate take away from Dr. Goodall’s insights? Will the teacher on the subject become the student?
What does it mean to be human indeed.

Ofcourse I haven’t a clue as to the presentation material and speculation is dart throwing at best, however the Pope’s of the recent past have written eloquently on this subject matter and my gut tells me that this pontificate will drink from muddy waters for popularity sake v. drawing pure water from solid teachings from our past theologians.

I hope I just have a case of indigestion.

Given the emphasis of major vaccine proponents on, not just population control, but population reduction, it is imperative to address the issue of what effect these vaccines have on fertility, if any. The push for vaccination for those of child bearing age and younger, when this age group has virtually no chance of a fatal viral infection should lead one to ask, Why?

“What does it mean to be human?”

To Sir David Attenborough and his ilk, it means much less than created in the image of God and more of a pestilence upon the earth, or an over grazing animal.
These “experts” marvel at the intelligence of a hive a bees, a bird, a beaver -but dismiss our collective intelligence as human beings in favor of their own.

Signs of the end of COVID. A meeting of “experts”, a reset, for Fear must now be reintroduced as CLIMATE change, before the sheep have other ideas.

I understand why someone like Goodall is so concerned about population, especially since she’s spent so much time in Africa. I would tend to agree in many ways. But it’s very easy to fall into an “ends justifying means” mindset, and – as long as I’m using cliches – the unintended can proliferate faster than the Nigerian population. We’ve already seen them in the West.

How thoroughly do events have to discredit Paul Ehrlich’s yammer before people stop listening to him. It was manifest 30 years ago that he had completely misunderstood human problems such as they were in 1967 (and much of what he had to say in 1967 sounded outlandish even then). He is now 90 years old. Can’t he just do Elderhostel with his wife and enjoy the company of his great-grandchildren and leave the rest of the world alone?

She’s an anthropologist whose metier is animal behavior studies. She hasn’t a clue. Ehrlich’s a biologist; he hasn’t a clue. Lot’s of us do not have a clue, but no one’s interested in our table talk. Julian Simon made it bloody plain 30 years ago that Ehrlich did not have a clue because he Ehrlich knew nothing about how actors in human societies respond to price signals.
