What a Salon Writer Thinks Illegal Aliens Are For

Well, Ms. Williams, other than their Grandparents and their Aunt Cathy, my wife and I had someone else look after our three kids precisely once as they were growing up.  I have the duty of scrubbing out the toilets at my home, my Air Force Sergeant Dad having made sure I learned to do that job properly as I grew up, and I have always driven myself, although I have never owned a limo.  Go here to read other responses to Ms. Williams.

  1. The Democrats are hypocrites. Remember the Clinton Administration Nannygate? Zoe Baird’s and Zimba’s employment of undocumented aliens, and Baird’s non payment of Social Security tax for her illegal nanny prevented these two lawyers from being the US Attorney General.
Undocumented aliens or illegal immigrants for a variety of reasons are dangerous to our country, it’s citizens and to other illegal immigrants. It is also cruel to look the other way when it creates an under class whose members are under the thumb of gangs, drug lords, traffickers, petty thieves, and in bondage to unscrupulous employers who may belong to either political party.
The Catholic Church hierarchy is complicit; creating misery instead of saving souls.

  2. T. Shaw, thanks for the laugh. Microchips maybe coming in the near future with Conservative Christians put at the head of the line.

Kimba Wood (a rather cheesy character for other reasons) saw her nomination derailed for reasons of embarrassment at the very haut bourgeois vibe of her domestic arrangements. She’d actually been in compliance with the law as written. Zoe Baird and her husband, both lawyers with comprehensive job security (in his case) and a exceedingly high compensation (in hers) hired an illegal alien au pair on the cheap, paid her off the books, then hired an immigration lawyer to try to clean up the mess. The idea of this insurance lawyer with a three-digit population of subordinates at Aetna and a compensation package in the mid-six-figures negotiating-down her prospective household help down for sums which are sofa change to such people was an amazement. Supposedly, Baird was incredulous when Clinton’s political people told her she was non-salable inventory.
