Anyone who expects anything out of this Pope except usual lockstep adherence to the hoof prints of Francis will likely be disappointed.

Regardless of their faults, we got complacent with Pope St. JP II and Pope B XVI. Now here we are with heterodox Jorge the heretic and heterodox Pope Bob the Democrat from Chicago. We got no one to blames but ourselves for our complacency because God allows the leadership that a people deserve. Indeed, isn’t it said somewhere that wicked leadership is God’s punishment for a wicked people? Look at Judah just before God sent vengeance in Ezekiel chapters 8 through 11.
Unless he trying to get her to repent, that is a disgusting picture of Pope Francis and Emma Bonino having their Expresso.
JP2 was a (is a) saintly man but he spent too much time globe trotting, not paying enough attention to his house -the bishops being appointed who would elect Francis and now Leo (who headed choosing bishops under Francis!)
What are we to do?! Find an SSPX chapel and contribute there. Make it there whenever you can. That and Pray. Without HIM we (and they) can do nothing.

Amen to that. Got one about 45 minutes away. Started donating to them as soon as Tucho’s word salad came down. Now trying to convince my bride to go there with me. Until then I’m stuck in N.O. parishes, but the priests are solid and reverent and, so far, wholly non-political. So it could be worse.
Pope St. JP II went to World Youth Days and other visits because Vatican has the “smoke of Satan.” He went straight to the people.
Pope B XVI was very judicious in his photo ops. Pelosi had an audience, but there were no photos and a Vatican press release was ready as she left the building.

The bishops were disobedient to John Paul II, taking the Pope’s authority as their own .The Dallas Charter is proof.
Pope Benedict XVI realized that changing the bishops was not possible.
