If you didn’t know any better, just watching this, you would have thought nothing much happened in France.
Prior to 1918 nothing did in the way of large movement after the initial invasion except for the German withdrawal to the Hindenburg line in February-March of 1917, one of the smarter moves made by either side during the War.
