Father Z gives us the closing speech of the Pope at the Synod along with his comments:
[The hymn Te Deum was sung, and Benediction given.]
So the Synod closes with the Pope doing a bit of hunting with the hounds and running with the foxes. The next year should be a fascinating one in the life of the Church.
“to run with the hare and hunt with the hounds” is the form the proverb takes in my part of the country.
Thank you, Donald. I miss the precision and logic of Benedict.
Far too many words. Brevity is the soul of wit.
perserverence in the face of adversity is character building
“Thank you, Donald. I miss the precision and logic of Benedict.”…Paul. Me, too.

It appears that Pope Francis is as mad as hell as he does not miss an opportunity to bash souls who have the temerity to disagree with him. Collegiality (snark).
I think (dangerous!) that one of Satan’s distortions of Catholic teaching is that they perpetuate difficulties for sinners. The Church’s traditional (not former yet) emphasis on the hereafter, rather than on the here-and-now, seems to have motivated many to leave the Church.
We will not forget to pray for you Holy Father. We will pray even harder for you than we did before. Much harder and more frequent!
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the Holy Father is telling us all to never place a period where God has placed a comma,
Nor should we put a “but” where he has placed a period.
