Not terribly amusing. (Sorry.) Saw this on twitter, but not much in blogs:

Cardinal Pell on What He Learned From His Time In Prison: ‘The Christian Package Works’

https://www.ncregister.com/interview/cardinal-pell-on-what-he-learned-from-his-time-in-prison-the-christian-package-works

“In his first extended interview with a Catholic publication since his release, the Australian cardinal discusses what he recounts in his ‘Prison Journal,’ which will be published Dec. 16.”

A wide-ranging interview that feels too brief on some sensitive topics. A lot people wished he was guilty of very evil deeds, but he keeps his dignity here and I presume his book will be the same way.

Spambot – I know it’s not funny funny, but a falsely imprisoned cardinal watching a Joel Osteen sermon is kind of amusing.

I propose that we keep open the one thing that is truly essential!
