Mr. Price is certainly correct on the track record. But (possibly wishfully) I think enough abuses such as this and the other recent attacks against Orthodox/Hasidic Jews by Cuomo and DeBlasio might result in a change from past behavior. Will it be enough to make any difference? It’s hard to be optimistic about a state containing a city as far gone as the Big Apple, but 31 years ago I never would have believed the Berlin Wall could come down, either. All that took was enough people getting fed up with the government. A little help from people named Reagan, Thatcher and Wotyla also was important, but who knows what might happen behind the scenes here? Keep praying.
For the Jews the Orthodox are the future, simply by birth rates. For Reform and Conservative, for too many of them, Leftism is their religion.

They’re already alienated and growing more alienated with every riot. And the police know it, which is why so many are leaving their jobs for greener pastures.
These Gentlemen have more patience with this officer than I’d have. Nice to see some push back.
Catholicism is going the same was as the Jewish religion. It began with Martin Luther. Soon orthodox Catholics will find themselves in the same fix as Orthodox Jews in Nazi Germany.
There’s an ultra-Catholic family on our parish. They’re on their seventh baby. The father is a teacher at a prestigious Catholic HS. We see all of them every Sunday at 0730 Mass. We only had three, our seventh grandchild is due February, God Willing.
Recently heard on radio Dennis Prager, a devout Jew, say most nominal Jews’ true religion is liberalism. I can’t argue against that.
Years ago, in NYC office building [overlooking the NY Public Library] we would go outside to smoke. Often, also there was an ultra-orthodox Jew, an IT specialist at a large bank. He was a nice guy. Easy to talk to. The topic of arranged marriages somehow arose. His was one. I couldn’t argue our way is better.

Exactly! And to think this is the same NYPD who rightly turned their back on DeBlasio.
Prager says (correctly) that their religion is LEFTism, not liberalism. Prager is one of few conservatives with enough sense to not call leftists liberals!
