Political Seppuku

Trump handed him the knife and Biden eagerly thrust it into his belly.  Proof that Biden is none too smart and suffering from dementia.

There were quite a few moments too when I said to myself “Oh, oh, the Bernie Bro’s are staying home Nov. 3rd.

Does anybody believe China Joe will actually be president?

Seen on Facebook: “The fact that a man with dementia, who can’t handle a regular schedule, who is refusing to answer questions about what he’ll do as President is capable of winning the presidency even as a pay-for-play scandal engulfs his campaign is a sign the country is broken.”

Some have compared the set up to Hindenburg when Hitler ‘pulled the strings.’

I’m hoping that the “woke” crowd stays asleep or that they filled in their mail-in ballot incorrectly because regardless of dementia Joe’s outlook they will do anything to vote Trump out.

Zombie nation comes to mind when I ponder the offspring of a indoctrination center near you.

It seems to me that it takes a fair amount of discipline to show up and vote against someone instead of voting for someone, especially when one has little or no interest in actually voting for the candidate one would have to vote for in order to effectively vote against the despised candidate. Republicans I think tend to be better at it out of a fuller sense of civic responsibility.

It’s easier to march and scream and shout, loot, pillage and burn than it is to actually show up and participate in a system one has been taught to think of as corrupt and illegitimate since 1619.

Voting is so stodgy and bourgeois.

DISCLAIMER: My opinions my own. Not associated with any govt entity, NGO, religious org, corporate or private enterprise, etc. Sorry – when talking on anything nuclear, I should include that disclaimer.

As long as these Democrats talk about useless worthless wind and solar to displace carbon emitting fossil fuel energy, opposing clean, safe nuclear energy, then all their protestations about anthropogenic global warming (now called climate change) is horse crap. Sure, the Biden campaign mouths off stuff about supporting new passively safe reactor designs, but historically every time a Democrat become President, an antinuke become NRC Chairperson – Gregory Jackzo and Allison MacFarlane under Obama being the latest examples, and Shirley Jackson under Clinton being a previous example.

The Trump Administration (US DOE) has agreed to fund $1.355 billion over 5 years (I think) in a cost sharing agreement for new nuclear build (NuScale’s SMR – a light water intrinsically safe reactor design that now has a US NRC safety Evaluation Report) for UAMPS (Utah Area Municipal Power System):

https://energycentral.com/c/ec/doe-awards-uamps-1355-billion-nuscale-smr-idaho

Click on the sub-links in the Table of Contents here for the NuScale Safety Eval Report – you guys got no idea the level of mind numbing detail that such an evaluation is:

https://www.nrc.gov/reactors/new-reactors/smr/nuscale/ser-open-items.html

And the Trump Administration (US DOE) has agreed to fund $160 million for TerraPower’s Natrium sodium-cooled fast neutron burner reactor (the kind that can consume high level radioactive “waste”) and X-energy’s Xe-100 high temperature gas-cooled (helium) reactor that can generate electricity, desalinate water, provide heating for extraction of oil from Alberta’s petroleum sands, etc.

Frack you, Joe Biden, and the horse you road in on. Go, Trump, go!

FWIW, I was able to instigate (what appeared to be) thought in a committed NTer by saying, “OK, on Day 1, if your side wins, you get your wish. The new crew shows up, and, poof, No More Trump. He’s gone. The problem is that there are 1,460 days that follow until the next election, and the people you’ve just voted into power have an agenda of their own. They’re not going to look around, say ‘Hey, see that? Trump’s gone,’ and then just fold up and leave also. They’re going to do things you may not like at all, and you’ve opened that door big and wide.”

Maybe it was just mild indigestion, but after that there was a pause in the conversation, and a furrowed brow on the face of my acquaintance.

I’m not sure Biden was being stupid so much as assuming, with some accuracy, that most people who weren’t already opposed to him will not look, will not believe if they do, and won’t care either way.

Among everything else, the best frame for President Trump’s reelection chances is this: He won in 2016. Is there anything different now that hurts him?

This eliminates many of the arguments. “He has bad polling numbers.” Sure, but he did in 2016 and won anyway. “He is often abrasive and unpresidential.” Sure, but even moreso in 2016 and he won anyway. “It doesn’t matter that the dem candidate is bad because people will vote against Trump rather than voting for that candidate.” Same thing said of Hillary, and while I’m sure many people voted in that way it wasn’t enough to let her win.

Literally the only thing that you can point to that is different and could hurt President Trump is the Wuhan flu. But notice that the dems are not hitting as hard on that point as they could? It’s very hard for them to make hay of it since if they get too deep into things they run into inconvenient truths, like how their governors have ruled over the worst hotspots while acting like the biggest tyrants, or how big the recovery has been from the worst moments. All they really can say “people died, so the president should be held responsible.” But all President Trump has to do is say “According to your own models over two million people were supposed to die, so look at all the lives I saved!”

Many polls have shown global warming is not a top priority to voters. Neither is “race relations.” Despite media attempts to polarize us, most Americans get along well with others of different races and treat others as individuals. The economy and foreign relations are much more of a priority.

Once again, I’m struck by the difference between what we are told by the media and real life experience. In real life, I work with people of all races and get along with them just fine. In real life, nobody – including liberals – is really afraid that we’ll all be dead in 12 years because of global warming.

Yet the media keeps bringing up global warming and race relations – because they are obsessed with both topics and think they will help Dems. Yet Trump succeeded in turning the tables and making Biden’s energy policies a big liability rather than an asset.

Unprecedented levels of voting by mail and the Democrats’ successful “ballot harvesting” experiment in California. Also, Hawaiian judges.

[A]ll President Trump has to do [Wuhan-flu wise] is say “According to your own models over two million people were supposed to die, so look at all the lives I saved!”

I’m a bit surprised he isn’t saying that to be honest.

Well, 2020 has thrown a lot of curveballs at us, so I am not overconfident – but the truth is it’s very hard to unseat an incumbent president.

It happened in 1980.The weak and hapless Jimmy Carter was defeated by perhaps the most skillful politician of my lifetime.

It happened in 1992. Mr. “Read My Lips, No New Taxes” was also defeated by another skillful pol – but Clinton would not have won without the help of Ross Perot. Libs who scream about the popular vote have forgotten that Clinton got 42 percent of the vote in ’92.
Biden is not a strong opponent.

Same is true of leftist politicians, because IF they REALLY believed in anthropogenic global warming from carbon emissions off fossil fuel, THEN they would be supporting carbon-free nuclear energy ba11$ to the wall (I was a submarine sailor) instead of having opposed it tooth and nail for 40 years, and always appointing anti-nukes as US NRC chairpersons. Touting less than 30% capacity factor solar & wind instead of 92+% nuclear is just greenie-weenie propaganda to the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez feminist crowd in service to Pope Francis’ demon goddess Pachamama.

He has said that on multiple occasions. One such example:

or for another:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfujDb7RS6Q (almost got the wrong link there because youtube enabled autoplay and put me on a Lincoln project video; all completely organic, I’m sure).

You don’t hear much about it because the news never reports on it. But it goes over well at his rallies, and I’m sure it is stopping the news from hammering him as hard as they would have to eventually show his response.

I have to confess to being blessed to live in political bubble. Everybody around here pretty much knows how the election is going to go, so there’s not a lot of political advertising. In fact, because our media market covers parts of three states, I see more political ads for Minnesota (Colin Peterson) and Iowa (Joni Ernst).

The exception to that is the potheads. They’re well funded and they refuse to go away, no matter how many times their initiated measures and constitutional amendments get voted down.

Biden Abomination Before God: “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord.” Proverbs 12:22

If you do not vote against Biden, Harris, and all democrat death dealers, this is you:

”Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” Dietrich Bonhoeffer

“We’ve had enough exhortations to be silent. Cry out with a thousand tongues – I see the world is rotten because of silence.” St Catherine of Siena.

“Joe Biden, Liar” is just more “baby puppies.” As is “democrat death dealers”.

“The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to such a pass that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others. And having no respect he ceases to love, and in order to occupy and distract himself without love he gives way to passions and coarse pleasures, and sinks to bestiality in his vices, all from continual lying to other men and to himself.” Fyodor Dostoevsky, The Brothers Karamazov

“Though he was inquiring into himself as closely as he could, he never even told himself that he had been dishonest. Fraud and dishonesty had been the very principle of his life, and had so become a part of his blood and bones that even in this extremity of his misery he made no question within himself as to his right judgment in regard to them.” Anthony Trollope, The Way We Were

I agree, Mr. McClung. Nearly certain that one will not be getting into Heaven if one voted Democrat.
