Welsh female saint of the third century. Her feast day was observed from early times in Wales, although almost nothing about her except that her grave is probably located at a church dedicated to her at Llanerfyl, Powys, near a “holy well” associated with her. The water from the well was traditionally used for baptism and as holy water.
