My Bride and I have been married for 44 years and three kids. We have known triumph, disaster, great joys and great tears, births and deaths, and a lot of ordinary days. We have traversed this Vale of Tears through it all together. A great deal of love, patience and a fair amount of humor, even in the darkest times, have seen us through, along with the prayers we say each night together before we go to sleep. There is no magic key to a good, lifelong marriage, but what I have described has worked, with the help of God, for us.
