Something for the weekend. Finlandia Hymn. My Bride and I are off to Winter War 52, a war gaming and rpg convention that I have been attending since 1976. Go here to read about it. We usually pick up some new games from the vendors and more at the game auction. This year the convention starts on my Bride’s birthday on January 30, a week before my birthday on February 6, the one week in the year where we are the same age. (I robbed the cradle.)
For the daring, or the crazed, among you, go here to download the free game Unciv, a Civilization clone.

Ah…if I had married a gamer.
Do not take your trip for granted, Don – enjoy!
Enjoy. Cleaning out the workshop a couple of weeks ago I found an original Tobruk game I played in high school. My youngest and I spent several hours that weekend reliving battles in North Africa.
