Just a guess here, but I would be willing to bet a good bottle of single malt that the religious orders who regularly sing or chant the Salve, whether as part of the Rosary or at the end of Mass or the Office, are growing with new vocations. And the ones who don’t, are not growing. Such a practice, albeit a small thing by itself, reflects an attitude toward the traditional prayer life of the Church that the now-dying orders lost, somewhere in the last 60 years or so. Recommended reading: Sisters in Crisis, Revisited, by Ann Carey. Available, and not expensive, in many places. No commission earned. 😂
