I agree but look at it slightly differently.
It seems to me that if you are willing to break one commandment to get the “fine things” that you want, then why not break the others.
Once you can rationalize the disobedience in one case, you will find excuses by which to rationalize disobedience in other circumstances too. Especially when you think you’re just so clever.
Pride month is well named.
