a black co-worker once laughingly told me a story of his sons and white friend browsing stores, where his sons had the eye of the shopkeeper while the white kid stole things.. he made the comment “that blacks are always suspect”…
then i said… “well if planes were being highjacked by bald men, and i were stopped at the airport and questioned.. i wouldn’t be mad at the police.. i’d be mad at the other bald men.. ”
he looked at me angrily.. having never heard that before.. later.. we became and are good friends.. why?.. because he knows i hold him, as all -to the same standard(s).
I get the impression that the majority of violent crimes – including murders – are being committed by black gangster hoodlums, crazed Muslim extremists, and demented transgender activists. That said, I agree with David WS 100%. My wife and I are on a mini-vacation here in Florida, so while she is sleeping, I have been reading Cicero’s De Re Publica. He wrote something that relates to this, basically, that a just society isn’t one where people are equal by condition [ability] or money [wealth] (here’s looking at you socialists and communists), but a society is just only when people are equal before the law. That goes to what David WS wrote about everyone being held to the same standards.
