“two consenting adults…”
a magic wand against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments.. and then the Eighth.. and then the Fifth.. and then the..
“If we start killing off political hopefuls for texts and stepping out on their wives, everyone, on all sides, is out of here.”
Your terms are acceptable.
I emphatically agree with Jason.
Dems are weird.
You can cohabitate, be on a sixth marriage, cohabitate with your same sex, “marry” your same sex, pretend you are a different sex, cheat on your “partner” and say sorry, but not mean it.
However, they draw the moral line at stepping out on your partner with their consent.
Seriously???
Dig into any lib position more than one level deep and it makes no sense at all. (Yes, sometimes it don’t even take any digging either!)
I wonder if we will ever reach a critical mass of the population who agree with what Jason is saying – and I add my agreement alongside LQC.
Hmmm … The “on both sides” fallacy rears its ugly head again. The thing about adulterous conservatives is that the majority of them probably know what they’re doing is wrong. For liberals, the swift satisfaction of carnal urges (even the most depraved) is justification for almost any behavior.
I suppose the dems could give reference to President Harding as justification for election but that might be a stretch in time too much even for them.
“consenting adults”. I am surprised that they draw the line at “adults”.
“consenting adults” individuals breaking any Commandment are swirling around in darkness and ignorance, the consequence of original sin. Therefore these individuals have no informed consent to give.
