A prison is a good model for a socialist state. Another is a beehive. I have always been fond of the thought that living under socialism is like a lifetime visit to a government office to renew your driver’s license, and everyone who works at the office is on an eternal coffee break.
I disagree with Reagan. Socialism can provide food only until they run out of other people’s money, and they typically run out of other people’s money pretty fast because when no one has money there’s no place to go.
