An Englishman, he was Bishop of Uppsala in Sweden in the Twelfth Century. Protege of Cardinal Nicholas Breakspear who went on to be Pope Adrian IV, the only Englishman to be Pope. Martyred in Finland by an excommunicate, Henry is the patron Saint of Finland.
