Didn’t “we” just “do” that in 2020?
Ha! It sounds like Hitler- hated minorities, imprisoned his opponents, hated democracy and….claimed to fix everything! Not that Germany has ever been a functional democracy…with the overwhelming number of (Muslim) refugees which have poured into Fermsny since the fall of the Wall, years of socialist governments and struggling economy bc and high unemployment.
What I’m looking forward to is all of the ambassadors to US, who trashed Trump over the past few years, do a full 180 and try and save face when Trump becomes POTUS. We have one of those weasels Kevin Rudd who is Australian ambassador to the US who has made his dislike Trump well known. He is currently in damage control because he knows Trump has a memory like an elephant.
(Going ahead). 😂
What are they talking about?!? Biden doesn’t have that loud of a voice.
Every word in this so-called warning could easily apply to Joe Biden. So, what are we to do?
I’m going to wager that the person who wrote that is not, in fact, German.
It’s really hard for outside observers to understand a country’s politics and government. I know we have international commenters here, and it’s interesting to hear their takes, but so much of our news is influenced by the media we consume. This tweet doesn’t teach me anything about the US, or even about Germany, just about the press consumed by one maybe average guy in Germany.
Pinky – it’s up to you what media you choose to read. Read widely and you will able to gather the truth. Usually someone makes up their mind through local and international news outlets. But also interacting with people of others outside their own country through work and information they tell you about the politics and economy of their country. Also through social media (believe it or not), through entertainment (believe it or not) and also friends and family who have lived there or visited. We live in a globally connected world where information is everywhere. It’s up to you to process everything you read and work out the facts.
Ezabelle, I can agree with you about learning facts, but understanding the feel of a culture requires more than facts, and takes a real effort. I mean, I’d say that the German tweeter is mostly right in his facts, but he’s missing a lot of the story.
Pinky- in the end it’s all about facts. Feelings are just background noise and are interchangeable depending on the weather. Facts lead you to the truth. The Devil is the master of confusion for a reason. Get down to the cold hard facts of a problem and see everything else suddenly makes sense.
Some background about those videos:

I didn’t find the videos funny at all. I was very disturbed. Eventually the Germans are going to wake up from the liberal progressive environmentalist lunacy which currently seizes them, and when they do, there will be hell to pay.
