PopeWatch: A Dying Pontificate

Go here to read the post.  Since popes are mortal most pontificates end with the pope ailing and attention being transferred to what comes next.  The Synod was to be the crowning achievement for Pope Francis and instead it merely highlighted the corruption and confusion of the Franciscan years.  Europe witnessing simultaneously the very bitter fruit of unrestrained immigration from the Muslim countries illustrates that what Francis leaves behind is a demoralized Church that can merely repeat the secular shibboleths of its time.  Rather than converting the World the Pope has surrendered to it.  As the Pope begins his slow exit stage left it begins to dawn on many Catholics that a failed pontificate would be a much too charitable assessment of the past decade.

I am reminded again and again of this scene in the 80’s TV show 21 Jump Street where a Polish high school girl talks about her home Poland and the communist government: “They bore the people to death.”

I cannot say anything positive about this heretical Marxist Peronist Caudillo. He typifies all the unfair stereotypes of Latin America and its liberation tehology nonsense. Yes, I pray that God removes him from the Papal Seat, whether by retirement, by some miracle of forced exile, or by giving him his eternal reward. At this point, I don’t care. The sooner he’s gone, the better because in his pride he will never repent. But I fear that due to the way in which he has stacked the college of cardinals, we could get a worse Pope than him as successor.

I think the following quote sums up this Pontificate:

“…the only thing that makes the Church endurable is that it is somehow the body of Christ and that on this we are fed. It seems to be a fact that you have to suffer as much from the Church as for it but if you believe in the divinity of Christ, you have to cherish the world at the same time that you struggle to endure it. ”

The last conclave, willy nilly, produced someone perfectly awful. I’m praying that at the next conclave, the institutional politicians, willy nilly, produce someone tonic.

May what be produced be a stronger faith, a living charity that surpasses our own. A witness unequal in grace and unrelenting during trials for we have not a spirit of cowardice or failure. We have one of Victory since Christ is ours and His victory is forever.

Bad Popes? So what.

It’s your own soul and it’s disposition that one should be truly concerned with. We suffer as an individual and as the Body of Christ. But we Hope and our Hope is not in vain.

Romans 5: 3-5

3 Not only so, but we[a] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

I remain hopeful about the next conclave. Even though the Francis cabal and their secular sycophants like Fishwrap and WPI are confident they have permanently hijacked the Church, God may well have another idea. All those men PF has made Cardinals “from the peripheries” may have their own opinions as well. Keep praying and fasting for the next Pope to be what the Church needs right now.

Pope Francis has made himself irrelevant. There is no union in sodomy; no love in helping a partner into hell; all addiction to the vice of lust darkens the soul, therefore there is no informed consent.
Ordain every woman on the face of the earth and there will be no priest.
All child abuse aside, the Church has morons, misogynists and mindless idiots exercising fake authority because they think that they know better than Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit guides the Church.

He is not going anywhere. He is riding this horse till it dies and there arises the man of perdition. He is not the final one, but his harbinger and foot servant.
