Today for blacks the rate is 70 percent, for hispanics 50 percent, for whites 30 percent. The most successful group financially in our society are asian Americans and they have an out of wedlock birth rate of 11 percent. Most of our societal woes directly flow from the breakdown of the family.

I agree with you CAG. And they continue their “solution” with a war on the men and boys who aren’t aborted.
My only complaint about the tweet is that girls also need their fathers, and badly. The target of the war isn’t men or women; it’s difference.

When I taught at a girls’ high school, the absence of Dad in the home revealed itself in grades and behavior. Boys without Dad tend to destroy others and things; girls without Dad tend to destroy themselves.

Yep. Black teenage unemployment back then was always lower than white teenage unemployment. Thomas Sowell lived in Harlem as a teenager back in the forties. He recalls that on hot nights people used to sleep on their mattresses outside. The crime rate was so low that they were perfectly safe. Much that we accept as normal was a creation of that kidney stone of a decade, the sixties.
