No one did more to make the Queen’s final years miserable … except his wife … in medieval times he would have been left in the Tower https://t.co/LOtNOdQ2TB

I realize that Duchess Meghan retains her American citizenship under a line of ridiculous Supreme Court decisions in the sixties, but the idea that an American citizen can become a member of a royal family and retain their citizenship is absurd as a matter of logic.
Everything about that woman is absurd.
It’s now been made clear to her that one disrespectful move and King Charles will have her on the sidewalk. The late Queen was way to accomodating to her antics…probably because she loved her grandson.
I should not write this and I do NOT condone or advise the initiation of force or violence, but if there is one woman on the face of this Earth who needs to have her face slapped or her hind end spanked, then it’s that woman, Meghan Markle. Now nobody should ever treat his wife or girlfriend with disrespect or physical force. But that said, Markle is an arrogant, haughty, prideful spoiled rich brat who needs to be brought down a few pegs.

Yeah, Harry did not fulfill the duties he was bound carry out. He left centuries of tradition and history, all that made him what he was, for a second rate wannabe.
I bet he’s not a bad guy, but he made a terrible decision.
What a difference in just two generations.

Huh? What they call ‘royal duties’ appeared about four generations back. Harry isn’t cut out for it. It would have been better had he stayed in the military. (The Duke of Kent, Prince Michael of Kent, and Prince Andrew all had 20 years in the service). His cousins lead ordinary lives. The problem is not in that he asked to be released from that, it’s that he’s placed himself under the direction of a Hollywood pest.
What a difference in just two generations.
Among the troublesome people in George VI’s generation were two of his brothers and a sister-in-law. Among those in the Queen’s generation were two of her 1st cousins, her sister, and, in spades, her brother-in-law. Among those in her children’s generation have been two sons (one in a more qualified way than the other) and all but one of the five people to whom her children have been married. Seems like you have troublesome people in every generation.
The problem is not in that he asked to be released from that, it’s that he’s placed himself under the direction of a Hollywood pest.
This is like saying “The problem is not that he jumped off the building, it’s that he hit the ground”
This is like saying “The problem is not that he jumped off the building, it’s that he hit the ground”
That’s a perfectly witless analogy.
Harry selling insurance in Cardiff and living a quiet life would not be a problem. His cousin Peter and the husbands of his cousins Beatrice and Eugenie all live ordinary lives (in sales, marketing, and real estate development) and they and their spouses appear on ceremonial occasions and promote certain philanthropic bodies with their spare time. Harry living in Los Angeles, appearing on Oprah, and breaking confidences is a problem.
