That’s so beautiful. Shame on the laws which allow a NUN who is PRAYING to be thrown in jail.

Cardinal Pell, similarly, wrote of how he received generally positive support from fellow prisoners during his time in jail – he even overheard an argument between 2 inmates with one inmate defending him passionately declaring that the good Cardinal was innocent (if 2 former Prime Ministers defended him, it was good enough for him). Although Pell spent the 13 months in solitary confinement (for his own protection) he wrote to many inmates who had asked for spiritual advice, referring them to Bible passages for spiritual guidance. He wrote how not being able to celebrate Easter and Christmas Mass was the most painful aspect of being in jail.

God is amazing- he always brings His light to the most darkest of places.

Redemptive suffering from the confines of a false imprisonment. To share in the sufferings of Christ as he was jailed wrongfully on early Friday morning..after the false witnesses testified against him. Well, the Nun took great advantage of those hours in jail since she claimed such Joy while imprisoned. Her hours were fruitful for many many souls.

St. Maximilian Kolbe, pray for us.
