Some Animals More Equal Than Others

 

So  the Appellate Court, First District, in a 2-1 decision. springs Smollett from jail pending the outcome of his appeal, and releases him on a recognizance bond so he doesn’t have to post a money bond.  Possible under Illinois law?  Sure.  Likely?  About as likely as seeing a unicorn galloping along side your car during your next commute to work. Infuriating.
