Captain Jean-Luc Picard: At the end, he gave me a choice – between a life of comfort… or more torture. All I had to do was to say that… I could see five lights, when in fact there were only four.
Counselor Deanna Troi: You didn’t say it.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: No. No. But I was going to. I would’ve told him anything. Anything at all. But more than that – I believed that I could see… five lights.
Star Trek The Next Generation, Chain of Command Part II (1992)
“In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is…in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.”
Theodore Dalrymple (Anthony Daniels)
Ah, to live in a time when the proposition that men are men and women are women is regarded as beyond the pale by those influenced by the ever increasingly crazed Left. It is all about power. If they can force you to say that men can magically become women and women can magically become men they can force you to say, and do, anything. Fight this with every fiber in your being.

“Many a true thing can be said in jest.”
I tell people all the time that I have tried and tried to order non-binary chickens but hatcheries always have only hens and roosters. They usually laugh, although sometimes their face twists, as their mind struggles with the idea.
And in a moment of quiet reflection with friends I’ll say “Ah, I remember when I was a little girl”. That almost always gets a laugh because the sight of a 60-year-old 5-11 200lb bald guy saying that -is just too much.
Double gross.
JK Rowling has copped it for stating the obvious. Even Emma Watson who was a nobody before Rowling plucked her from obscurity and made her a household Potter star turned on the author- calling her a witch.
‘People who menstruate.’ I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?”
JK Rowling.
Funny how these folks always end up circling back around to attacking women and children, just as sure as they try to disarm and mob any who oppose ’em, innit?
What the current moment tells us is that our institutions are under the ‘leadership’ of shallow, other-directed, fad-driven people when they’re not under the leadership of borderline psychopaths. I don’t know how we came to this moment in our history, other than an escalating percentage of people born after about 1938 seem to have been raised with the notion that everything takes a back seat to their appetities.
