The DOJ needs to be dissolved from top to bottom and “reimagined.” I can’t think of much it has accomplished of any real value in the past fifty years. I believe others here may already have suggested this, but it bears repeating. Disband the DOJ. Law enforcement should be localized as much as possible.

Who here is surprised? So if they did investigate it, the pattern is, that it would be a multi-year investigation, they probably wouldn’t prosecute, if they did prosecute, even if found guilty no one would punished in any way. Better “save” the money and not bother to prevent to “investigate”.
