This is the same pope who publicly corrected (and humiliated) an alter boy for daring to fold his hands in prayer in a more pious expression than just hand wringing. Why then are we surprised that he apparently also frowns upon the TLM?

I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that many others were left out of Francis’ supposedly “extensive” consultation precisely because it was known that their input wouldn’t support the decision Francis wanted to make. As with this Pope’s phony synods, the conclusions
were likely written up before the window-dressing of “extensive consultation” was ever begun.

I heard an interesting take yesterday… “the papacy is causing this and many will need to endure this abuse, but the papacy will eventually be the way out.”
Pray for the Pope.
They need to find better actors who don’t make it so obvious they are reading a script.
