Thought for the Day

Go here to read the article.  The Church used to stand against the World, the Flesh and the Devil.  Since Vatican II we have seen an eager capitulation to all three among all too many clergy and laity.  Paul VI nailed it when he referred to the smoke of Satan entering the Church.  Until this is addressed and corrected by a Pope, we are merely rearranging the deck chairs on an ecclesiastical Titanic.

In 1st Kings chapter 19, Elijah told God:

I have been very zealous for the Lord, the God of hosts; for the Israelites have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword. I alone am left, and they are seeking my life, to take it away.

But God answered thusly:

Yet I will leave seven thousand in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.

Personally, I don’t care if the Institutional Church implodes from this cancerous infestation and infection of liberal progressive modernism. God will preserve 7000 who have NOT bent knee to Baal, who have NOT kissed that demon god. Francis II – er, I mean Prevost – knows that and should be in fear and trembling at the responsibility on his neck to do the righteous thing.
